"Looking at Death" encourages us to look at death differently, transforming this inevitable yet natural experience from one of fear, helplessness, finality, anxiety and depression, to one of transition, empowerment and even joy.

Looking at Death uses very specific guided exercises developed by Monroe Institute founder Robert Monroe, transpersonal psychology cofounder Charles Tart, PhD and visionary Hospice pioneer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, MD, delivered via audio utilizing Hemi-Sync or binaural beat technology. This technology works by supporting the hemispheres of the brain in coming together holistically, producing states of consciousness - like that of deep and focused meditation - from which attention, relaxation and performance are enhanced and improved. Likewise, anxiety, depression, agitation, and stress are significantly lessened.
Through interactive and confidential group discussion, facilitated lecture and frequent Hemi-Sync meditative sessions, participants will explore their consciousness as they are encouraged in safety and support to release and transform their emotions, thoughts and beliefs about death while being given the opportunity to calmly and proactively prepare for eventual transition into their understanding of the next phase of existence.
